1. Overview & Privacy Principles

BandNotify ("we", "our", or "us") is developed by TAZAKKA PRO. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring complete transparency regarding how data is handled.

BandNotify operates primarily as a local, client-side utility designed to bridge smartphone notifications to your connected smartband or smartwatch. Your personal message content, chat histories, and notification text never leave your smartphone.

2. Information Collection & Local Processing

Zero Personal Data Upload: We do NOT collect, store, transmit, or sell your personal notifications, message content, contact names, or chat logs to external servers.
Local Processing Only: Notification titles and message snippets are processed strictly within your device memory to format and transfer them to your wearable hardware over Bluetooth LE.
App Preferences: Custom app whitelists, keyword alert filters, and reminder schedules are stored exclusively on your local device storage (via SharedPreferences).

3. Android System Permissions & Purpose

To perform its core bridging features, BandNotify requires specific Android system permissions:

Notification Listener Access (BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE): Required to detect and read incoming notifications from apps you explicitly whitelist, allowing BandNotify to forward them to your wearable.
Bluetooth Permissions (BLUETOOTH_CONNECT & BLUETOOTH_SCAN): Required by Android OS to scan for nearby smartband devices, pair with them, and transmit notification packets via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
Location Permission (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION): Mandated by Android OS (Android 11 and lower) for Bluetooth LE scanning. We do NOT track, record, or store your physical GPS location.
Internet Access (INTERNET): Used solely by third-party advertising SDKs (Google AdMob) to fetch and display ads.

4. Third-Party Services & Google AdMob

BandNotify incorporates Google AdMob to display non-intrusive advertisements. Google AdMob may collect pseudo-anonymous device identifiers, IP addresses, and app usage diagnostics to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance in compliance with Google Play Developer Policies.

5. Data Retention, Disclosure & Security

No External Data Retention: Since no personal notification data is transmitted to TAZAKKA PRO, we maintain no database of your messages or personal info.
Disclosure Exclusions: We do not sell, trade, or rent user data to any third party.
Security Safeguards: All notification processing occurs within Android's sandboxed environment and standard encrypted Bluetooth LE communication channels.

6. User Controls & Revoking Permissions

You retain full control over your privacy at all times:

You can disable Notification Listener Access or Bluetooth permissions at any time via:
Android Settings -> Apps -> BandNotify -> Permissions
You can configure which specific apps are allowed to forward notifications directly in the app.
Clearing app data or uninstalling BandNotify completely removes all local app settings from your device.

7. Children's Privacy

BandNotify is a general audience application and does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Union).
